The Lone Star College (LSC) East Aldine Center and Aldine ISD (AISD) Rose M. Avalos Pathways In Technology (P-TECH) Early College High School sits on a 15.97 acre parcel of land.

The building has two wings with the ability to add a future third wing organized around the three sides of an equilateral-triangle shaped entry lobby. The main entry is centrally located in the triangular lobby. This two-story high space is a daylight-filled area that is an inviting place for students, staff and visitors. It encompasses collaboration areas, easily recognizable student information points and space for outside community activities. Workforce shops include welding, HVAC, pipefitting and electrical. Deliveries and outside work occur in the yard behind the shops with access from the secondary driveway connected directly to Aldine Mail Route Road. The wing to the east contains student support areas such as registration, cashiers, a learning center, academic classrooms and office space. The future building addition will provide additional academic classrooms and administrative offices.

The AISD P-TECH High School provides students a seamless path from high school, to post-secondary education, to employment. At Rose M. Avalos P-TECH School, students can earn a high school diploma, associate’s degree and work credentials, including certifications and licenses. They have the opportunity to engage in work-based education at every grade level, such as internships, apprenticeships and other forms of job training programs.
